About This Scholarship
The Afreximbank Internship Program 2027 offers young Africans the opportunity to gain practical experience in trade finance and African trade at the continental bank’s headquarters. Interns will contribute fresh ideas to the organization while developing knowledge of Afreximbank’s mandate and operating model.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Return airfare
- Monthly tax-free stipend of USD 1000, housing allowance of USD 500 for relocating interns
- Hotel accommodation for one week during induction
- Airport transfers
- Relevant residence visa
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be enrolled in full-time undergraduate or postgraduate study programme at a recognised institution
- 2 Must be a national of an Afreximbank Group member state, student of African descent in the diaspora, or non-African student whose vision aligns with Afreximbank's mission
- 3 Must be aged between 20 and 32 in the year of application
- 4 Must be fluent in English or French with working knowledge of the other language
- 5 Knowledge of Arabic or Portuguese is an added advantage
- 6 Must possess valid medical insurance and group personal accident cover valid in Egypt
- 7 Children of Afreximbank staff are not eligible
