About This Scholarship
The Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS) 2026 is a Malaysian Government initiative to attract top international talents to pursue full-time postgraduate studies (Master’s and PhD) at leading Malaysian universities. The scholarship covers full funding for tuition and related costs at 24 participating universities (20 public and 4 private institutions).

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a citizen of one of the eligible recipient countries
- 2 Must be an international graduate with outstanding academic and co-curricular background
- 3 Must intend to pursue full-time postgraduate studies (Master's or PhD) in Malaysia
- 4 Alternatively, must be currently pursuing full-time postgraduate studies in Malaysian public universities or selected private institutions with a minimum of two (2) semesters remaining
- 5 Must hold a valid passport with minimum 6 months validity
- 6 Must provide evidence of English language proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL or official letter confirming English medium of instruction from previous institution)
