About This Scholarship

The AMIDEAST Fulbright Scholarship is a prestigious, fully funded graduate scholarship sponsored by the U.S. Department of State for outstanding students from the Middle East and North Africa to pursue Master’s degrees at top U.S. universities. Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must hold a Bachelor's degree at the start date of the program
  • 2 Must demonstrate strong academic record
  • 3 Must have strong English language proficiency or ability to participate in Long-Term English (LTE) program
  • 4 Must be a citizen or permanent resident of eligible MENA countries
  • 5 Cannot enroll in clinical programs such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, or nursing (except nursing administration, public health, and nutrition sciences)
  • 6 Must commit to return to home country upon program completion
  • 7 Preference given to applicants who have not previously studied or lived in the United States
