About This Scholarship
The IBRO Neuroscience Training Grants provide dedicated funding to support early-career neuroscientists from under-resourced regions in covering costs associated with attending neuroscience training courses, including fees, travel, and accommodation. The program aims to eliminate financial barriers and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in neuroscience research and education.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Training course registration fees
- Travel related to the training course
- Local expenses
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a PhD student or early-career postdoctoral fellow
- 2 Must be within 5 years of starting first postdoctoral fellowship
- 3 Must be planning to attend a neuroscience training course starting between 1 July and 31 December 2026
- 4 Must not be applying to attend an IBRO-Supported School (apply directly to school instead)
- 5 Priority given to applicants from underrepresented or under-resourced backgrounds
- 6 Priority given to applicants demonstrating gender and regional diversity
