About This Scholarship

The UCL Global Master’s Scholarship aims to enable and encourage international students from lower income backgrounds to pursue full-time Master’s degree studies at UCL. The scholarship provides £15,000 for one year of study (or 50% in each year for 2-year programmes) with up to 85 awards available.

What This Scholarship Covers

  • £15,000 scholarship value for one year of study
  • Covered towards tuition fees first, with remainder paid in three equal instalments for maintenance
  • 50% of value in each year for 2-year programmes

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate
  • 2 Come from a lower income background as defined by UCL
  • 3 Have submitted a complete admission application (including references) for a full-time Master's degree at UCL for 2026/27
  • 4 Be from any country outside the UK
  • 5 Be studying in-person at UCL (distance-learning options are not eligible)
