About This Scholarship
The Cecil Renaud Overseas Scholarship is a full postgraduate scholarship awarded annually to one or two exceptional South African students for Masters degree (or equivalent) or PhD study at top universities in the United Kingdom. The scholarship supports students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership qualities, and the potential to make a significant impact on their field and society.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Full postgraduate scholarship covering tuition and related expenses for study in the United Kingdom
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a South African citizen who completed secondary schooling in KwaZulu-Natal
- 2 Must be under 27 years old at the time of application
- 3 Must have completed or be currently studying towards an Honours degree or four-year undergraduate degree at a South African university
- 4 Must have attained undergraduate or Honours degree(s) of the highest academic standard
- 5 Must have achieved Dean's Commendations and Certificates of Merit or equivalent
- 6 Must demonstrate evidence of focus, commitment, stamina and leadership
- 7 Must have a good track record in extracurricular activities and a drive to succeed
