About This Scholarship

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a non-Chinese citizen with no criminal records and in good health
- 2 For Master's degree: Bachelor's degree required, age 18-35 years
- 3 For PhD degree: Master's degree required, age 18-40 years
- 4 Language proficiency: Minimum HSK 4 (score 260) for Chinese-taught science/engineering programs, HSK 5 (score 200) for Chinese-taught arts/social science/medical programs, or IELTS 6 or TOEFL 85 for English-taught programs
- 5 Exemption from language requirements if first language or official country language is Chinese/English, or if degree obtained in Chinese/English
- 6 Strong academic background and innovative research capabilities required
- 7 Must meet specific program admission requirements as outlined in the Program Catalogue
