About This Scholarship
This associate fellowship is available to African students pursuing the MSc Global Leadership and Peacebuilding at King’s College London for the 2026/27 academic year, combining rigorous academic research with a tailored mentoring programme. Successful applicants receive partial tuition coverage (25% of MSc fees) plus a £5,000 living expense contribution, with an optional paid six-month post-programme attachment to an African institution.
What This Scholarship Covers
- 25% of MSc Global Leadership and Peacebuilding tuition fees at King's College London for 2026/27 academic year
- £5,000 contribution to living expenses in London
- Tailored mentoring programme including group-mentoring sessions, simulation practices, one-on-one and peer-to-peer mentoring

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a citizen of an African country
- 2 Must be a full-time student
- 3 Must demonstrate citizenship in an African country with valid travel documents
- 4 Must demonstrate interest in pursuing careers in peace, security and development
- 5 Must demonstrate the following values: promoting African-led ideas and processes of change; independent thinking; integrity; pursuit of excellence; recognition of youth agency; and respect for diversity
- 6 Must secure unconditional acceptance into the MSc Global Leadership and Peacebuilding at King's College London by the university's deadline
