About This Scholarship
The Permanent Mission of Estonia to the United Nations offers a Fall 2026 internship in New York for EU students interested in diplomacy and international affairs, providing hands-on experience in UN operations and global policymaking. Selected interns work full-time (40 hours/week) with Estonian diplomats while receiving a monthly allowance and support with U.S. visa applications.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program at a higher education institution
- 2 Must demonstrate strong analytical and research skills
- 3 Must show commitment to multilateral cooperation and international diplomacy
- 4 Must possess creativity and problem-solving abilities
- 5 Must have an open-minded, curious, and positive attitude
- 6 Must be fluent in English
- 7 Must be eligible for and able to maintain security clearance by Estonian authorities
- 8 Knowledge of another UN official language is considered an advantage
