About This Scholarship

Canadian University Dubai offers merit-based and need-based scholarships covering up to 50% tuition fee waivers for undergraduate and master’s degree programmes. The university provides multiple scholarship categories including Academic Excellence, Financial Hardship, Sports, Special Needs, and Special Talent scholarships.

What This Scholarship Covers

  • Tuition fee waiver (10% to 50% depending on scholarship type and academic performance)
  • Community service requirement (up to 15 hours per month for Financial Hardship Scholarship recipients)

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours for Academic Excellence Scholarship
  • 2 English language proficiency required
  • 3 For high school applicants seeking 50% tuition waiver: minimum academic average of 99% or above
  • 4 For high school applicants seeking 40% tuition waiver: academic average between 95-98.9%
  • 5 For high school applicants seeking 30% tuition waiver: academic average between 90-94.9%
  • 6 For high school applicants seeking 20% tuition waiver: academic average between 85-89.9%
  • 7 For returning students: minimum CGPA of 2.8 to apply/reapply for Financial Hardship Scholarship
  • 8 For Financial Hardship Scholarship: minimum of 4 academic courses recommended per semester
  • 9 Open to all nationalities who meet admission requirements
  • 10 Financial Hardship Scholarships valid for one semester only and do not apply to summer semesters

How to Apply

Complete the scholarship application form

Prepare supporting documents: completed application form, current rental contract, bank statements, employee certificate and salary statement for each employed family member, copy of passport and visa for all working family members, certificates of educational tuition fees for each sibling

Email scholarship application form with all supporting documentation to scholarship@cud.ac.ae

Meet deadline: July 7th for fall semester or December 20th for spring semester

Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
