About This Scholarship
The Brittan Scholarship offers up to £20,000 to support students from refugee and asylum-seeking backgrounds pursuing master’s degrees in global justice, international development, business, and law at UK universities. Created in memory of Lord Leon Brittan, the scholarship aims to remove financial barriers and support talented displaced students committed to creating positive change in society.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Up to £20,000 funding
- Tuition fee support
- Grant toward living expenses
- Assistance in accessing postgraduate education
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must currently be living in the United Kingdom
- 2 Must have applied or be in the process of applying to a master's programme at a UK university
- 3 Must have an asylum-seeking background (immigration status must result from an asylum claim in the UK)
- 4 Must be pursuing one of the approved fields: International Law, Human Rights Law, International Aid, or International Business
