About This Scholarship
Up to six scholarships worth £5,500 each are offered by the University of Essex in partnership with BT for full-time 1-year Postgraduate Taught Masters students in the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering for the 2026-27 academic year. The scholarship can be used as a tuition fee discount or as a stipend towards living expenses, with successful applicants working on specific cybersecurity and network projects in collaboration with BT.
What This Scholarship Covers
- £5,500 per award
- Tuition fee discount OR stipend towards living expenses (paid in instalments throughout the academic year)
- Opportunity to work with the Institute for Analytics and Data Science
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be applying for a full-time 1-year Masters course within the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering
- 2 Postgraduate conversion courses are not eligible
- 3 Must be enrolled as a postgraduate taught student in academic year 2026-27
- 4 All nationalities are eligible to apply
