About This Scholarship

The SECAI scholarship programme supports outstanding Master’s students pursuing studies in Artificial Intelligence and related disciplines at Technische Universität Dresden or Leipzig University in Germany. The scholarship covers living expenses and provides a monthly stipend to allow scholars to focus on their studies, research, and professional development whilst prioritising academic excellence and diversity in AI-related teaching and research.

What This Scholarship Covers

  • Monthly stipend of €934
  • Monthly family allowance (for eligible foreign students)
  • Living expenses covered

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must be a highly qualified Master's student or prospective Master's student
  • 2 Must have achieved excellent results in Bachelor's studies
  • 3 Must be pursuing or planning to pursue Master's level studies in Artificial Intelligence or closely related subjects
  • 4 Must be able to enrol at Technische Universität Dresden or Leipzig University
  • 5 Women in STEM subjects are particularly encouraged to apply
  • 6 Students facing systematic disadvantage or persecution in their home countries, including refugees of war, are encouraged to apply

How to Apply

Prepare motivation letter including topical connection to SECAI and AI in planned or current studies at TU Dresden or Leipzig University

Gather Bachelor's certificate (if available) and transcript of records

Gather other relevant certificates if applicable

Prepare declaration of other sources of income, including other scholarships

Include reference number and submission date of Master's programme application if applied in parallel
