About This Scholarship
The Monash Research Training Program is a fully funded scholarship for international students pursuing research doctorate and research master’s degrees at Monash University in Australia. The scholarship covers full tuition fees, annual living allowance, and relocation support for eligible postgraduate research students.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Full tuition fees covered
- Annual living allowance of $37,145
- Relocation allowance of $1,500
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be an international student, New Zealand citizen, Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or Australian humanitarian visa holder
- 2 Must meet Monash's English language proficiency requirements
- 3 Must hold a bachelor's degree with at least four years of full-time study in a relevant field, normally including a research component with honors 1 or 2A classification
- 4 Alternatively, must hold a master's degree with significant research component (at least 25% of full-time equivalent work) including thesis, normally with honors 2A or equivalent
- 5 Must have qualifications deemed equivalent by the Graduate Research Committee (GRC)
- 6 Must not have previously held an Australian government or Monash-funded postgraduate research award for more than six months
- 7 Selection is based on academic record, research outputs, and prior research experience
