About This Scholarship
UNDP is offering five six-month internship positions within the Investigations Section of its Office of Audit and Investigations at UNDP Headquarters in New York. Interns will support investigation teams in handling cases related to fraud, corruption, workplace misconduct, and other violations while gaining practical experience in international development governance and compliance.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Monthly stipend of $1,000 (for interns not financially supported by universities, governments, or scholarship programmes)
- Practical experience in investigations within an international organization
Who Can Apply
- 1 Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme such as a master's degree or higher
- 2 Be enrolled in the final academic year of a bachelor's degree programme
- 3 Have graduated within one year before the internship start date
- 4 Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship programme
- 5 Have academic background in investigations, management, finance, law, international relations, international development, or related disciplines
- 6 Demonstrate strong written and spoken English skills
- 7 Fluency in Spanish (required for two positions) or French (required for one position)
- 8 Demonstrate integrity, objectivity, cultural sensitivity, strong analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
