About This Scholarship
The Sir James McNeill Postgraduate Research Scholarship is a fully funded opportunity for international and domestic students undertaking research that is environmentally responsible and socially beneficial at Monash University in Australia. The scholarship provides an annual living allowance, relocation allowance, and research allowance to support postgraduate research students.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Annual living allowance of $53,608
- Relocation allowance of $2,000
- Annual research allowance of $1,500
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be an international student, New Zealand citizen, Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or Australian humanitarian visa holder
- 2 Must be undertaking a Master's or PhD research programme
- 3 Research must be both environmentally responsible and socially beneficial
- 4 Must meet English language proficiency requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall (no band less than 6.0) or TOEFL 79+ (Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18, Writing 21) for general; or IELTS 7 overall (no band less than 6.5) or TOEFL 94+ (Reading 19, Listening 20, Speaking 20, Writing 24) for Arts, Business, and Economics
- 5 Must have submitted a scholarship application for the year the scholarship is offered
- 6 Must meet Monash's competitive scholarship selection process requirements
