About This Scholarship

Birkbeck University of London offers International Scholarships for undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes to students from eligible regions across Africa, Asia, Caribbean, Latin America, and MENA. Scholarships provide partial tuition support ranging from £1,000 to £5,000 for the first year of study only.

What This Scholarship Covers

  • Tuition fee support - £5,000 (first year only)
  • Tuition fee support - £2,000 (first year only)
  • Tuition fee support - £1,500 (first year only)
  • Tuition fee support - £1,000 (first year only)

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must be an international overseas tuition fee-paying student
  • 2 Must hold an unconditional offer on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme from Birkbeck
  • 3 Must be an ordinary resident of an eligible country in Africa (Sub-Saharan), Asia (Central, South, Southeast, East), Caribbean, Latin America, or MENA region
  • 4 Must be self-funded
  • 5 Must be classified as an 'International' tuition fee payer
  • 6 Must have English language proficiency
  • 7 Can only hold one scholarship award
  • 8 Cannot hold this scholarship in conjunction with other full scholarships (e.g., Chevening)

How to Apply
