About This Scholarship
The GDPC Spotlight Research Grants Program provides $10,000 USD in funding to university researchers from low- and middle-income countries for original research projects focused on the principled and accountable use of technology in humanitarian action. The program aims to strengthen evidence on how ICTs and emerging technologies can be applied ethically and responsibly in humanitarian contexts.
What This Scholarship Covers

- Up to eight months of research funding
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a university researcher
- 2 Must be from a low- or middle-income country (LMIC)
- 3 Research must be original and policy-relevant
- 4 Research must focus on principled and accountable use of technology in humanitarian action
- 5 Research can be conducted in English or French
