About This Scholarship
This four-year fully funded PhD scholarship at the University of Limerick’s Centre for Applied Language Studies focuses on examining how Irish and German media report on climate change through multimodal discourse analysis. The successful candidate will contribute to the research project ‘Posthumanist Sociolinguistics and Journalistic Practices: Reporting on Climate Change in Irish and German Media,’ funded by Research Ireland and the Irish Environmental Protection Agency.
