About This Scholarship
A prestigious 12-month research fellowship offering USD 120,000 (USD 10,000 per month) for accomplished scholars, policy practitioners, journalists, and public intellectuals to conduct policy-relevant, nonpartisan research on major foreign policy and global challenges. Fellows work remotely with funded visits to Washington, D.C., and engage directly with policymakers and peer scholars.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Monthly stipend of USD 10,000 for 12 months (USD 120,000 total)
- Funded travel to Washington, D.C. at start and end of fellowship
- Remote work arrangement
- Access to Wilson Center resources and policy community
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a scholar, policy practitioner, journalist, or public intellectual
- 2 Must propose a policy-relevant, nonpartisan research project
- 3 Project must address key challenges confronting the United States and the world
- 4 Project must align with at least one of the four priority areas of the Wilson Center
