About This Scholarship
The CWAJ Graduate Scholarship is a privately funded opportunity providing ¥2,000,000 annually to non-Japanese women pursuing doctoral degrees at Japanese universities from April 2027 to March 2028. The scholarship supports living expenses, research fees, tuition, housing, transportation, and academic supplies for international female PhD researchers.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a non-Japanese woman
- 2 Must not be a permanent resident of Japan

- 5 Must meet additional eligibility criteria outlined in the foundation's application guidelines and pamphlet
