About This Scholarship
Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University offers fully funded scholarships for Master’s and PhD programmes across diverse fields in Asia Pacific studies and business management. The scholarship covers full tuition, admission fees, monthly living expenses of 144,000 JPY, and economy-class airfare for international students.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Full admission fee
- Full tuition fee
- Monthly subsistence allowance of 144,000 JPY (including housing)
- Economy-class airfare (home country to APU and return)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a national of a MEXT-designated country
- 2 Must intend to study abroad in Japan from overseas
- 3 Must be born on or after April 2, 1991
- 4 Must have achieved a GPA of at least 2.30 on a 3.00 scale at their most recent university
- 5 Must be proficient in English or Japanese
- 6 Must not be on active military duty or employed as civilian staff by the military
- 7 Must not have previously received a Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship, with limited exceptions
- 8 Must not receive other scholarships unless approved for concurrent acceptance
- 9 Must hold a Student status of residence (visa status) in Japan
