About This Scholarship
The MTN Foundation MUSON Diploma Course in Music is a fully funded, two-year full-time programme offering advanced training in music with majors in multiple instrumental and vocal areas. The programme aims to produce well-rounded musicians educated to conservatoire standards, eligible for direct entry as transfer students into university music degree programmes.
What This Scholarship Covers

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a Nigerian citizen
- 2 Must be a full-time student studying in a public tertiary institution (university, polytechnic or college of education) in Nigeria
- 3 Must possess General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level with credits in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, OR Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) with credits in at least five (5) subjects including English Language
- 4 Five (5) credits must have been obtained at not more than two (2) sittings before admission
- 5 Must possess a valid JAMB result
- 6 Must hold Music Theory Grade Five (5) or higher from MUSON School of Music or recognized certificate (ABRSM, Trinity College London)
- 7 Must hold Music Practical Grade Five (5) or higher from MUSON School of Music or recognized certificate (ABRSM, Trinity College London)
