About This Scholarship
The Albukhary International University Scholarship is a fully funded undergraduate scholarship covering tuition fees, accommodation, and living expenses for talented students from low-income families worldwide. This programme supports academically promising students by removing financial barriers and fostering social mobility through access to higher education at AIU in Malaysia.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Be between 17 and 22 years old (local applicants) or 17 and 20 years old (international applicants)
- 2 Be single/unmarried
- 3 Have completed at least secondary education (Grade 10 or higher)
- 4 Come from a low-income household (international applicants: household income ≤ USD 300/month; Malaysian applicants: MYR 2,400 in Sabah/Sarawak; MYR 5,300 in Kuala Lumpur/Putrajaya/Labuan; MYR 2,900 in other states)
- 5 Must not have family members previously sponsored by the Albukhary Foundation
- 6 Must be selected based on academic merit, financial need, and interview performance
