About This Scholarship
The Qingdao University President Scholarship is a fully funded programme for international master’s and PhD students to study at Qingdao University in China. The scholarship covers tuition fees, on-campus accommodation, monthly living allowance, and comprehensive medical insurance.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Full tuition fee coverage
- On-campus accommodation (usually double rooms)
- Monthly living allowance (3,500 CNY for PhD students, 3,000 CNY for Master's students)
- Comprehensive medical insurance
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a non-Chinese citizen aged 18-40 in good health
- 2 Must plan to enrol in a master's or doctoral programme in September 2026
- 3 Must abide by Chinese government laws and regulations with good behaviour
- 4 Must meet entrance requirements of master's and doctoral programmes at Qingdao University
- 5 Must not have received other types of funds or scholarships
- 6 Must have English and Chinese language proficiency (HSK5 with 210+ score for Chinese-taught programmes; IELTS 6.0+ or TOEFL 90+ for English-taught programmes; exemptions apply for native English speakers or those with English-medium education)
- 7 Must provide recommendation letters from two associate professors, experts, or scholars
