About This Scholarship
The UCLouvain Postdoctoral Fellowship 2027 is a fully funded opportunity for early-career researchers to conduct postdoctoral research at one of Europe’s top research universities for 12 to 36 months. The fellowship provides a tax-exempt stipend, social security contributions, and an operating budget to support research across all scientific fields.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must hold a PhD degree
- 2 Must have a maximum of 5 years of postdoctoral experience
- 3 Must comply with mobility rule: cannot have resided in Belgium or conducted primary employment/academic pursuits there for more than 24 months during the 3 years prior to fellowship commencement
- 4 Research proposal must demonstrate merit and institutional fit
- 5 Must have identified a competent UCLouvain host supervisor
- 6 Open to researchers from all nationalities and scientific fields
