About This Scholarship
Carleton University’s Prestige Scholarships are merit-based entrance awards for high-achieving high school and CÉGEP students entering their first year of undergraduate study. These prestigious scholarships range from CAD 20,000 to CAD 32,000 (or full domestic tuition coverage) over four years and recognize exceptional academic performance, leadership potential, and community involvement.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Chancellor's Scholarship: CAD 32,000 total (CAD 8,000 per year for 4 years)
- Richard Lewar Entrance Scholarship: CAD 21,500 total (CAD 6,500 in Year 1, CAD 5,000 per year for Years 2-4)
- Carleton University Scholarship of Excellence: CAD 20,000 total (CAD 5,000 per year for 4 years)
- Carleton University SHAD Scholarship: CAD 20,000 total (CAD 5,000 per year for 4 years)
- Jay Woo and CAA Scholarship: CAD 20,000 total (CAD 5,000 per year for 4 years)
- Riordon Scholarship: 100% full domestic tuition for 4 years
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be entering Carleton University directly from high school or CÉGEP
- 2 Must have no previous attendance at a post-secondary educational institution (college or university)
- 3 Must achieve an admission average of 90% or better
- 4 Must have demonstrated leadership roles in extra-curricular activities throughout secondary school
- 5 Must be pursuing post-secondary studies for the first time
