About This Scholarship
Event scholarships for the Global Mental Health Africa Conference 2027 to support African mental health researchers, advocates, and individuals with lived experience of mental health conditions who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial constraints. The conference aims to provide a platform for important voices in African mental health to share their work and perspectives.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Early career researchers working in mental health research, practice, or policy
- 2 Students with a letter of support from institution or supervisor
- 3 Persons with lived experience of mental health conditions or psychosocial disability
- 4 Other applicants with demonstrated connection to mental health in Africa
- 5 Priority given to applicants based in Africa for whom financial support is essential to attend
