About This Scholarship
The York University Glendon Scholarship is awarded to international students admitted to Glendon with top academic standing who demonstrate leadership through community service, sports excellence, or arts achievement. Recipients receive $10,000 toward their first year, renewable for the same amount each year of full-time studies up to a maximum of 4 years.
What This Scholarship Covers
- $10,000 for first year
- Renewal of $10,000 per year for up to 4 years (maximum total $40,000)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be an international student who requires a permit to study in Canada
- 2 High school applicants only
- 3 No previous college or university experience allowed
- 4 Must apply to study an undergraduate Glendon program starting Fall or Spring 2027
- 5 Minimum academic standing of A average (80% or equivalent, York Factor 8) required
- 6 Must demonstrate community service, arts achievement, sports achievement, or other individual achievement
- 7 One letter of recommendation from high school teacher or school counsellor required
