About This Scholarship
The Karsh International Scholarship, established in 2010, is a fully funded merit-based scholarship for outstanding international graduate students who demonstrate financial need and commitment to scholarship in service of society. Scholars receive full tuition coverage, living stipends, and access to Duke University’s world-class research facilities while joining a vibrant cohort of civically engaged students from over 20 countries.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be an international applicant (citizen of any country outside the U.S.)
- 2 Cannot have dual U.S./other country citizenship
- 3 Cannot already hold a B.A. or B.S. degree
- 4 Must demonstrate documented financial need
- 5 Must apply to Duke University and request financial aid
