About This Scholarship
The AWARD Leadership Program is a customized 9-month immersive learning experience for young African women in science under 35 with at least five years of professional sector experience. The program equips participants with leadership, mentoring, proposal writing, and communication skills through interactive training sessions, expert webinars, peer mentoring, and one-on-one coaching to prepare them to excel in agricultural sciences and take on leadership roles.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Female applicant under 35 years old
- 2 Minimum of a B.Sc. degree or equivalent in any agricultural science discipline from a recognized university
- 3 At least five years of full-time sector experience in science and agriculture
- 4 Currently actively engaged in agriculture-related professional work
- 5 Reside in Africa
- 6 Demonstrate commitment to growth and clearly articulate career goals
- 7 Demonstrate ability to take on leadership responsibility
- 8 Not currently a Fellow or Laureate of any other Fellowships offered by AWARD
- 9 Citizen of one of the following countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, or Zambia
