About This Scholarship
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) Scholarship Program offers a fully funded Master’s degree scholarship in development-related fields at Asia Pacific University in Japan. The scholarship covers tuition, living expenses, airfare, study materials, and medical insurance for a 2-year programme beginning in September 2027.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a citizen of an ADB member country and a Japanese ODA eligible country
- 2 Must not hold dual citizenship of any developed country
- 3 Must currently reside and work in home country
- 4 Must have at least two years of full-time work experience after obtaining a bachelor's degree
- 5 Must demonstrate proficiency in oral and written English communication skills
- 6 Must be 35 years old or younger at the time of application
- 7 Must not be currently enrolled in a graduate degree programme
- 8 Must not have a bachelor's or master's degree obtained outside of home country (in principle)
- 9 Must not be pursuing a second master's degree
- 10 Family income must not exceed US$50,000 per year and individual income must not exceed US$25,000 per year
- 11 Must intend to enroll at APU in September 2027
