About This Scholarship
The Cybersafe x SANS AI Security Fellowship is a nine-month advanced training and certification programme for experienced African women in cybersecurity specialising in securing AI systems and applications. Participants progress from foundational AI security literacy to advanced application security and automation practice, culminating in globally recognised GIAC certifications.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a woman older than 21 years old
- 2 Must be African and currently reside in an African country
- 3 Must speak English
- 4 Must have at least three years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- 5 Must have a genuine interest in AI security
- 6 Must be able to commit to the full fellowship including dedicated exam preparation windows
- 7 Must be willing to complete the prerequisite AI security course as part of the application process
