About This Scholarship
Monash University offers up to five fully funded PhD scholarships for researchers investigating the human, social, ethical, political, cultural, economic and creative consequences of artificial intelligence. The programme is open to domestic and international applicants from humanities, arts and social sciences disciplines, with successful international candidates receiving tuition support in addition to the AUD 41,100 annual stipend.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Research Living Allowance valued at AUD 41,100 per annum (2027 full-time rate, tax-free stipend)
- Indexation in accordance with scholarship conditions
- Additional allowances as per Research Training Program stipend scholarship rules
- Tuition support for international candidates
Who Can Apply
- 1 Appropriately qualified domestic or international applicants
- 2 Background in Humanities, Arts or Social Sciences disciplines preferred
- 3 Research focus on human dimensions of artificial intelligence rather than technical/engineering aspects
