About This Scholarship
The UN Chemicals and Waste Management Study Programme offers up to 8 fully-funded scholarships for youth aged 18-35 from LMICs, LDCs, SIDS, and Indigenous Peoples representatives to participate in a 5-day study programme in Geneva from 9-13 November 2026. Participants will gain practical exposure to UN chemicals and waste processes, attend expert-led sessions, visit Geneva institutions, and engage in youth activities connected to the Global Framework on Chemicals First International Conference (14-20 November 2026).

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application
- 2 Must be from a Low- or Middle-Income Country (LMIC), Least Developed Country (LDC), Small Island Developing State (SIDS), or be a representative of Indigenous Peoples
- 3 Must be available to travel to and remain in Geneva from 8-20 November 2026 (inclusive)
- 4 Must commit to participating in the full duration of the programme
- 5 Must demonstrate genuine motivation and relevant interests, work, or experience in chemicals and waste management, environmental health, or related fields
- 6 Must submit completed application before the deadline
