About This Scholarship
This program invites 20 African animation professionals (10 companies, 2 participants per company) to Japan for approximately 12 days to build networks with Japanese anime creators and related organizations. Participants will experience Japan’s advanced technology, rich culture, and diverse social systems while discovering anime production sites and fostering connections between African and Japanese professionals.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be from an African animation studio
- 2 Must hold nationality of an African country
- 3 Must understand the aims of the Japan-Africa Youth Program
- 4 Animation studio nominates one executive and one creative professional
- 5 Maximum of 2 participants per company (1 executive, 1 creator)
- 6 Must be able to participate in online pre-exchange program before departure
