About This Scholarship
The Takemi Program in International Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health offers mid-career health professionals and researchers a one-year fellowship to conduct focused research and strengthen their research capacity and leadership in international health. The program brings fellows to Harvard to develop and execute an independent research project with faculty mentorship, with a strong emphasis on practical health challenges and resource allocation in low- and middle-income countries.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a mid-career health professional or researcher with an advanced degree
- 2 Must have significant work and research experience
- 3 Must have publications and demonstrated leadership potential
- 4 Must have a clearly defined research question relevant to international health
- 5 Must have existing data available for analysis before the fellowship begins
- 6 Research must focus on health systems, global health, health policy, health financing, disease prevention and control, health equity, or related international health fields
- 7 Must be able to conduct research in-person in Boston (remote option not available)
