About This Scholarship
The KAUST Global Fellowship Program 2027 is a fully funded, merit-based research fellowship for early-career postdoctoral researchers from around the world to conduct independent research at KAUST. The three-year programme supports research in six strategic areas and provides fellows with access to world-class facilities, equipment, and expertise to build successful research careers.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must have been awarded a Ph.D. degree within four calendar years (for Call 2027, Ph.D. must have been received after January 2023 inclusive)
- 2 Must expect to complete Ph.D. before the start of the Fellowship if Ph.D. is not yet awarded
- 3 Must be ready to relocate to KAUST to undertake the proposed three-year research project
- 4 Must satisfy all Kingdom of Saudi Arabia requirements to obtain resident status
- 5 Must identify at least one (up to three) potential KAUST faculty members whose research aligns with the proposed work
- 6 Proposed research must focus on one or more of the KAUST research missions: Water, Food, Health, Energy, Artificial Intelligence, or the Red Sea
- 7 Proposed research must align with the programs of KAUST academic divisions (BESE, BioMed, CEMSE, or PSE)
- 8 All nationalities welcome; female applications encouraged
