About This Scholarship
The INPEX Scholarship 2027 provides fully funded Master’s degree opportunities for talented graduates from Indonesia, Australia, and the UAE to study at Japanese graduate schools with financial support covering tuition, travel, and living expenses. The Foundation selects and recruits overseas residents at the pre-departure stage, enabling them to prepare for study abroad without financial concerns while pursuing research in their chosen field.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Round-trip airfare
- Full tuition and fees (examination fees, admission fees, tuition)
- Monthly allowance of 160,000 yen
- Settling-in allowance of 60,000 yen upon arrival
- Pre-departure Japanese language learning costs
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be under 30 years of age
- 2 Must hold nationality of Indonesia, Australia, or United Arab Emirates
- 3 Must have graduated with excellent academic performance (GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4-point scale, or equivalent)
- 4 Indonesian applicants must have graduated from a STEM fields faculty of a major university in Indonesia
- 5 Must wish to pursue a Master's degree program at a Japanese graduate school
- 6 Indonesian applicants must pursue Master's degree in STEM fields
- 7 Must submit a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the accepting professor at time of application
