About This Scholarship
Swinburne University offers multiple scholarships for international students commencing qualifying undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the Hawthorn campus in Melbourne in 2027. Scholarships provide tuition fee reductions ranging from 20% to 30% and are automatically evaluated based on academic merit without requiring a separate scholarship application.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Tuition fee reduction (20-30% depending on scholarship type)
- ELICOS fee reimbursement (up to 10 weeks for eligible students)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be an international (overseas) student
- 2 Must not be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident
- 3 Must be commencing a qualifying course at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus for the first time in 2027
- 4 Must meet academic entry requirements for the chosen course
- 5 Must meet English language requirements for the chosen course
- 6 For Women in Engineering Leadership Scholarship: must be female and enrolled in selected engineering or construction programs
- 7 For George Swinburne International Excellence Scholarship: must have exceptionally high academic standing
- 8 Cannot hold both an external tuition-fee reduction and another Swinburne tuition discount simultaneously
