About This Scholarship
The CRG Research Training Program provides highly motivated undergraduate and master’s students the opportunity to conduct research at the Centre for Genomic Regulation, an international center of excellence with diverse research teams and first-class core technologies. The program accepts applications year-round and offers 10 fellowship opportunities for the 2026-2027 academic year, providing participants with research experience, skills development, and international laboratory exposure.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Monthly stipend of 700€/month (gross) for up to 4 months
- Return airfare (up to 1000€ for non-European flights or up to 400€ for European flights)
- Access to first-class core technologies
- Seminars from high-profile invited speakers
- Courses on complementary and transferable skills
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be enrolled in an official undergraduate or MSc programme at a university
- 2 Must have experience in at least one of the following fields: phylogenetics, proteomics, genomics, or biochemistry
- 3 Must hold a bachelor's degree in a related field
- 4 Must have basic molecular biology skills
- 5 Must understand chromatin and evolution
- 6 Must be a new recruit (not already at the CRG)
