About This Scholarship
The MSc in Olympic Studies is a three-semester programme offered by the University of Peloponnese in partnership with the International Olympic Academy, combining on-site classes in Ancient Olympia and Sparta with remote thesis work. The programme prepares graduates for careers in Olympic education, event management, sports marketing, and leadership of Olympic and sports organizations.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Tuition fees (5,000 euros for three semesters)
- Full boarding at the International Olympic Academy (approximately 3,500 euros)
- Scholarships covering tuition and boarding through Olympic Solidarity for eligible candidates
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized Greek or foreign higher educational institution
- 2 Preferably officials of National Olympic Academies, National Olympic Committees, the International Olympic Committee, International Federations, National Federations, or EU Committees for Education, Culture and Sport
- 3 Can be from schools of sports organization and management, physical education, journalism, economics, pedagogy, humanities, or equivalent recognized institutions
- 4 Must demonstrate experience in sports events, Olympic education, or related research
- 5 Must have proficiency in English; other languages are advantageous
- 6 Must provide certified copies of bachelor's degree transcript, CV, language certificates, passport/ID, recommendation letters, and proof of experience
