About This Scholarship
Kyungdong University Global offers a partial graduate scholarship covering full tuition for the first semester ($5,000) with subsequent funding contingent on academic performance, available to self-sponsored students from East African Community member states. The scholarship supports Master’s degree programs in Engineering, Business, and Hospitality with 100% English-medium instruction, commencing August 31, 2026.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Full tuition fee of $5,000 for first semester
- 50-70% tuition coverage for subsequent semesters based on academic performance (80-89 average: 50% scholarship; 90+ average: 70% scholarship)
- Part-time student job assistance
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a citizen and resident of an East African Community member state (Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, or Somalia)
- 2 Must hold an undergraduate degree diploma and transcripts
- 3 Must provide English proficiency certificate with minimum IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 71 or higher
- 4 Must submit bank statement and balance certificate showing USD 16,000 from sponsor (parents, applicant themselves, or biological siblings if parents are deceased)
