About This Scholarship

This fully funded scholarship programme is designed for talented international students, including Slovaks living abroad, who wish to pursue full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degrees at selected public Slovak higher education institutions. Recipients receive €5,000 per academic year for up to 3 years for bachelor’s studies or the first three years of combined bachelor’s and master’s programmes, and up to 2 years for master’s studies.

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must be an international student from any country worldwide, including Slovaks living abroad
  • 2 Must plan to pursue full-time bachelor's, full-time combined bachelor's and master's, or full-time master's studies
  • 3 Must be admitted to a selected public Slovak higher education institution
  • 4 Must pass the SAT test (main selection criterion)
  • 5 Must meet the specific eligibility conditions outlined on the official scholarship website
  • 6 For master's studies: either previously supported by the scholarship scheme at bachelor's level or applying from abroad

How to Apply

Choose one of the designated higher education institutions in Slovakia and explore selected study programmes

Pass the SAT test (official test dates: May 2, 2026 and June 6, 2026; register on College Board SAT website)

Submit your application online before the deadline with required documents

Application will be verified by the Ministry and Higher Education Institutions

Check your applicant profile for results announcement

Arrange residency or D-visa, school enrolment, and arrival in Slovakia

Receive monthly €500 payments upon successful completion of verification
