About This Scholarship
The ACU Early Career Conference Grants provide emerging researchers at ACU member universities with funding to attend and actively participate in conferences held in Commonwealth countries outside their region of employment. The grants aim to strengthen research, teaching, and professional networks by enabling early career researchers to share knowledge and build collaborations.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be an early career researcher/academic at an ACU member university
- 2 Must be within 7 years of the start of their academic (research/teaching) career, excluding career breaks
- 3 Must identify a conference in a Commonwealth country taking place between February 2027 and January 2028
- 4 Must be presenting a paper, presenting a poster, or chairing a session at the chosen conference
- 5 Must not have previously travelled for work purposes outside their region of employment since the start of their academic career
- 6 Must not be a previous recipient of an ACU Early Career Conference Grant
