About This Scholarship
The Africa Climate Collaborative offers 12 fully funded PhD fellowships in Climate and Development at the University of Cape Town. The four-year programme combines one year of pre-doctoral coursework with three years of independent thesis research on critical African climate challenges.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Full fellowship funding for a 4-year doctoral training programme
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must hold a completed Master's degree in a discipline relevant to climate and development in Africa, matching the specific discipline required for the chosen research topic.
- 2 Must be a citizen of an African country (African citizens residing outside Africa are also eligible).
- 3 Must be under 35 years of age as of 1 February 2027.
- 4 May apply to only one of the listed research topics.
