About This Scholarship
The AMBSO Impact Research Initiative provides grants of up to USD 10,000 to support innovative early-stage research, proof-of-concept projects, and pilot studies addressing priority health challenges across Africa. The initiative aims to generate high-impact evidence, advance scientific discovery, strengthen health systems, and develop scalable solutions that improve population health outcomes across nine priority research tracks.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Grant funding up to USD 10,000 per approved project

- Regulatory and ethical approval processes
- Data collection funding
- Community engagement support
- Technical support from programme investigators
- Data management support
Who Can Apply
- 1 Researchers, academic institutions, research organizations, and community-based organizations are eligible
- 2 Projects must focus on one of nine priority research tracks
- 3 Early-stage research, proof-of-concept projects, or pilot studies
- 4 Work must address priority health challenges in Africa
- 5 Projects must be able to complete all activities within 18 months
