About This Scholarship
The ARES International Training Scholarship supports professionals from 32 eligible African and developing countries to pursue advanced bachelor’s, master’s degrees, or 2-to-6-month continuing education courses within higher education institutions of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation in Belgium. The scholarship covers tuition fees, travel expenses, monthly stipends, and visa-related costs.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Be a permanent resident and work in one of the 32 eligible countries (or be a Palestinian national)
- 2 Hold a graduate degree and meet admission requirements for the program
- 3 Have earned the relevant academic degree no more than 20 years prior to program start (extended by one year for each childbirth/adoption)
- 4 Demonstrate at least two years of relevant professional experience in one of the 32 eligible countries between completion of most recent graduate degree and application deadline
- 5 Complete the application in the language in which the program is taught
