About This Scholarship
The Ashinaga Africa Initiative supports orphaned students from sub-Saharan Africa by providing full financial support to study at a university abroad for an undergraduate degree equivalent. The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, travel costs, and other necessary fees, with a commitment from scholars to return home and contribute to African development.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must have lost one or both parents
- 2 Must be a citizen of one of the eligible Francophone, Lusophone, or formerly Anglophone countries
- 3 Must have obtained their bachelor's degree or be currently in L3 (final year of undergraduate) and will have completed by June at the latest
- 4 Must not have the financial means to pursue a Master's degree in France
- 5 Must be fluent in French (for Francophone applicants)
- 6 Must have obtained an average of over 14/20 in the baccalauréat or over 75% in the state exam
- 7 Must have obtained excellent marks in their bachelor's degree
- 8 Must be able to participate in online orientation sessions from October to December with access to a computer and stable internet connection
- 9 Must be committed to returning home or elsewhere in sub-Saharan Africa to actively contribute to African society after graduation
- 10 Must have no dependents that would interfere with studies
- 11 Must be in good health and able to study internationally
