About This Scholarship
The ADB-JSP is a fully funded Master’s scholarship for qualified professionals from developing member countries of the Asian Development Bank to study at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa for the Fall 2027 academic year. The scholarship is funded by the Government of Japan through the Asian Development Bank and administered by the East-West Center.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Be a citizen and current resident of an eligible developing member country of the Asian Development Bank
- 2 Be 35 years old or younger at the time of application
- 3 Hold a 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 4 Have at least 2 years of full-time professional work experience after completing a university degree
- 5 Have a strong academic record
- 6 Meet the English-language requirements of the selected program
- 7 Be in good health
- 8 Be admitted to an approved Master's program
- 9 Intend to return to their home country after completing their studies
